Canberra Business Chamber announces new CEO

The Canberra Business Chamber is pleased to announce the appointment of Greg Harford as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Harford is an experienced associations leader, advocacy professional and communicator. He is passionate about the role of business in driving good economic and social outcomes and has most recently been the Chief Executive of Retail NZ, the peak body for New Zealand’s retail sector.

Mr Harford will be relocating to Canberra for the role, having been a regular visitor to the nation’s capital over many years. As the new CEO, Mr Harford is committed to driving the economic prosperity and growth of the ACT through business.

He will be working closely with Chamber members and stakeholders in the Canberra business community to support their growth and transformation.

“I am honoured to be given this opportunity to lead the Canberra Business Chamber, and I look forward to working with our members and stakeholders.”

Greg is an experienced leader, and his leadership will be instrumental in representing Canberra business in furthering the strategic direction of the Chamber.”

Mr Harford will be starting with the Chamber at the end of July 2023.
