2026 Annual General Meeting

The 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Canberra Business Chamber (ABN 33 600 390 538) will be held in accordance with the Constitution, at the XXXX Canberra on Thursday 26 November 2026 at 5.30pm as part of our Business After Business networking function.

The agenda for the meeting is:

1. Welcome and apologies

2. Confirmation of the Minutes of the 2025 AGM

3. Consideration of the 2025-26 Annual Report and Auditors Report

4. Proposed changes to the Constitution

5. Appointment of Auditor

6. Announcement of the results of the 2026 Board Election (to be held online separately)

7. Any other business

PROXIES

A Member may also appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf at the Annual General Meeting, by submitting a proxy form.

A Member must submit the proxy form no later than 5.30pm on Monday 23 November 2026.

ATTENDING THE AGM

The AGM will be held as part of our end of year Business After Business event. If you wish to attend the AGM please register via the button below.

Please note that only financial Members are permitted to vote at the General Meeting of Members and each financial Member is entitled to one vote only

VOTING FOR DIRECTORS

Voting for the Chamber Board elections will be held online and NOT at the AGM. Voting instructions and nominee information will be emailed out to voting members on 1 November 2026 when the ballot opens. Details of 2026 Board Nominations can be found here.
