Event Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a ticket and attending an event organised by the Canberra Business Chamber, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

1. Ticket Purchases & Payment

  • Ticket prices are displayed on the booking platform and must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
  • All payments are processed online through the designated platform.

2. Event Details & Changes

  • Event details, including time, date, and location, are provided on the ticket at the time of booking.
  • The Event Organiser reserves the right to modify event details if required. Any significant changes will be communicated to attendees where possible.

3. Attendance & Entry

  • The Event Organiser retains the right to manage attendance and may deny entry at their discretion.
  • Attendees must present a valid ticket for entry, where required.

4. Photography & Videography

  • Events may include photography and/or videography for promotional or reporting purposes.
  • If you do not wish to appear in any photos or videos, please contact the Event Organiser prior to the event to make arrangements.

5. Use of Personal Information

  • Personal data collected during ticket purchases and registrations is used solely for event management purposes.

6. Personal Belongings & Liability

  • The Event Organiser is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
  • Attendance at events is at your own risk.

7. Instructions & Conduct

  • Attendees must follow instructions given by event staff and organisers at all times.
  • Unacceptable behaviour, including verbal or physical abuse, bullying, harassment, or violence, will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

8. Refunds & Cancellations

  • Refunds are determined at the discretion of the Event Organiser.
  • If an event is rescheduled, purchased tickets remain valid for the new date.
  • Where refunds are available, they must be requested within the specified refund period.

9. Acceptance of Terms

  • By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions in full.
