What is the Canberra Business Chamber?

As the peak business organisation in the region, we support businesses across all industries—including small enterprises, large corporations, retailers, professional services, manufacturers, and not-for-profits.

For 90 years, the Chamber has been at the forefront of helping businesses start, grow, and transform. Today, Canberra is home to over 36,000 private sector businesses, which contribute significantly to the local economy and generate 64 per cent of jobs in the ACT. We believe that the future prosperity of our region is built on the success of businesses, and our mission is to provide the resources, connections, and advocacy they need to thrive.

The Canberra Business Chamber is influential in speaking up on local and national issues, and is one of the founding members of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI).
