CONGRATULATIONS TO ONTHEGO SPORTS FOR SWIMMING WITH SHARKS AND LIVING TO TELL THE TALE
Canberra Business Chamber congratulates local business ONTHEGO Sports for not only making it through to the final round of Channel TEN’s Shark Tank, but successfully securing funding for future growth plans.
ONTHEGO Sports is an extremely successful new Canberra business. After just over four years of operation it is a multimillion-dollar valued business with an outstanding international reputation and sales in 10 countries.
“Canberra Business Chamber commends CEO Mick Spencer and all the ONTHEGO Sports team on their achievements. Securing a deal on Shark Tank last night is just the latest in a long line of wins for ONTHEGO,” Canberra Business Chamber CEO, Robyn Hendry praised.
ONTHEGO Sports is a member of Canberra Business Chamber, with Operations Manager, Alicia Shephard the Chamber’s first inductee into the Future Leaders Program.
“ONTHEGO Sports is a local success story and the funding secured through Shark Tank will help it continue to expand.
“While Shark Tank is entertaining television, it does provide an insight for businesses on how to develop a successful pitch and seek out venture capital,” Ms Hendry said.
“It was not only ONTHEGO’s plans and achievements that impressed the judges, but Mick’s ability to succinctly explain these in an engaging way.
“This is something that can be learned if it doesn’t come naturally to business owners and managers. Over the next month, Canberra Business Chamber is holding training sessions in public speaking and preparing for business growth.
“Canberra Business Chamber represents businesses across the spectrum, from business intenders through to large companies. We can help businesses at each stage of development, giving them access to the training and support they need to succeed.
