Canberra Cyber Companies Team to go Global
Canberra cyber businesses QuintessenceLabs and deception.ai partner to take their world-leading products to the biggest cyber conference, RSA, in San Francisco.
Today, at the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) Conference, held at the National Convention Centre, Canberra cyber security companies deception.ai and QuintessenceLabs announced a new partnership to showcase their world leading and locally created technology at the largest cyber security event in the world.
The partnership is an evolution for both companies, taking the very best in decoy technology from deception.ai and applying leading quantum technologies from QuintessenceLabs to create a sophisticated and secure solution to protect global customers from cyber-attack.
The announcement was launched by Robyn Hendry, CEO Canberra Business Chamber.
“The partnership between these two companies, and events, such as the ACSC, highlights the strength of Canberra as a hub to conduct cyber security business,” says Hendry. “It is exciting to see these two businesses working together and demonstrating their world leading innovations at one of the biggest global cyber events.”
The announcement was welcomed by ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr MLA.
The partnership and the ACSC conference are examples of how Canberra is increasingly seen as a destination for cyber businesses. “Canberra’s growing tertiary education industry, as well as our proximity to the Federal Government provides great opportunities for companies like QuintessenceLabs and Penten to grow.” said ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr MLA
The partnership had its conception via AustCyber, Australia’s Cyber Security Growth Network and nurtured through ACT Government initiatives to support innovation and collaboration by cyber security SMEs in the region.

deception.ai and QuintessenceLabs will both be part of the AustCyber activities at the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) Conference, held in Canberra over 10-12 April.
deception.ai will be supporting QuintessenceLabs on their stand at RSA Conference in San Francisco as part of an Austrade Mission in 14 – 19 April to pitch their ideas to a global audience.
