International Business Mentoring Program

The International Business Mentoring Program is an initiative of the ACT’s first recipient of the Australian Exporter of the Year (2018 Australian Export Awards Program), Aspen Medical, and the Canberra Business Chamber (CBC).

The program is aimed at businesses that are prepared to seek and receive feedback on the challenges, strategic issues and opportunities that arise in the process of international business growth.

The program will bring together skilled experts and successful entrepreneurs from within the Aspen Medical teams, relevant to the participating business, in order to assist them in addressing international business issues and impediments.

Aspen Medical’s experts will provide participants of the program with business development suggestions in a broad range of areas, including business planning, international markets, sales and marketing, finance, investment, and networks.

They’ll have a variety of expertise and skills and are drawn from across Aspen Medical’s broad range of highly skilled and experienced business areas. They bring strong credentials and skills in business development and have strong links to international business and networks.

Participants may be able to access support, for actioning the recommendations resulting from the mentoring program, through government business development programs such as the Trade Start program, International Business Program delivered by CBC, Austrade programs, the Export Awards and Trade Mission activities.
