Workshop: How to make your business cyber secure
Thursday 11 June 2020 – 11:30 am to 1:15 pm
FreeAs businesses grapple with post-COVID 19 realities, the focus is shifting from reacting to mitigating the impact of the outbreak. The new business landscape, based on a large-scale transition to remote working, incorporates new digital work practices and upskilling, and greater reliance on IT infrastructure. The importance of maintaining business cyber hygiene, especially in terms of data management and protection, is therefore greater than ever.
Canberra Business Chamber and AustCyber have joined together to create an online cyber security workshop. Its three streams will provide crucial information to guide businesses through this accelerated digital transformation, whether they operate locally or internationally.
Stream 1 – Cyber health 101 (low level difficulty) – Active discussion on what to do to increase your business cyber resilience with simple practical actions
Stream 2 – Cyber Skills Uplift (medium level difficulty) – How to recognise cyber threats, maintain cyber resilience and upskill your employees
Stream 3 – Threat Protection (medium-high level difficulty) – Defensive and offensive strategies for having a more robust, cyber resilient business
