Singapore – Australia: A New Era
Wednesday 9 August 2017 – 10:30 am to 1:00 pm
If you are an Australian business eyeing the growing economies of Southeast Asia and the exciting opportunities they offer, there has never been a better time for expansion, with Singapore providing a world class business hub for the region.
A confluence of factors – the commitment of the Australian and Singapore governments to bi-lateral economic interests, the emergence of Southeast Asian economies as a consumer powerhouse together with geographical proximity have gifted Australian business with a low risk entry point into one of the most lucrative markets in the world.
A recent landmark agreement, the Australian-Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP), has further strengthened economic, defence, and social ties between our two countries. Among the benefits of this Partnership are the opening of the flow of goods, services and investment between countries, the fostering of innovation and entrepreneurship, and the easing of entry and residency requirements for the Australian labour force in Singapore.
Find out how other Australian businesses are succeeding, engage with our expert speakers, and learn more about how you can leverage these opportunities.
