Mature Workers Business Information Session
Wednesday 26 February 2020 – 7:30 am to 9:00 amFree
Having trouble finding and retaining staff?
The skills-shortage is currently a major issue for many businesses in Canberra. A mature worker (aged 45+ or apprentice aged 25+) can have a wealth of transferable skills and life experience, but is often overlooked.
The Canberra Business Chamber has partnered with CIT and the ACT Government in the Mature Workers Employment Initiative to help address the labour shortage in ACT.
Are you an HR Manager, internal recruiter, hiring manager or employer, and want to learn more? Attend this free information session and find out about the support and incentives available for employing mature staff, including opportunities to re-skill and train.
You’ll also meet other businesses who are already doing this and learn about the benefits it can bring to your workplace.
