Amanda McIntyre – Partner at PWC and Diversity Leader
After fifteen years in the public sector, most notably as the Head of Office for Women for the department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Amanda is now partner at PwC.
She is highly skilled in diversity policy, risk management, government operations, strategic planning, business process improvement and stakeholder management.
She has worked part time for the past 10 years and is all about inspiring, empowering and educating women to be senior leaders of the future on their own talented terms. She dreams that she will see the problem of gender inequality solved in her lifetime and is resolutely committed to contributing through personal leadership and creating workplaces that empower women.
Vanessa Paterson, Advice and Reporting Executive Manager
Workplace Gender Equality Agency
Vanessa leads the team responsible for the advice, reporting, coverage and leading practice functions of the Agency, including the employer of choice citation. Vanessa has worked in key roles in the Agency since 2001 and more recently she has been integrally involved in the reforms of the Agency and its underlying Act. Her team continues to play an important role in implementing the new Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012. Prior to working at the Agency, Vanessa worked in a range of senior roles in the private sector.
Vanessa has a Bachelor of Science majoring in psychology, particularly focusing on organisational psychology and neuro-psychology, areas about which she remains passionate.
